Top-floor flat near the beach

Irene and I would be thrilled to welcome you to our home near the beach.

We live in a bright and cosy flat, the top one of two, which has an open kitchen and living room, a bedroom, an office (which can be changed into a bedroom if you prefer), toilet with shower and bath and three different terraces. The views are especially good from the spacious terrace on our roof, taking in the surrounding countryside and some of the bay of Alicante.

Inside of our quiet gated community, we have a swimming pool and parking, and we can offer you the use of a barbecue, the washing machine and our bikes. The flat is only 13 minutes from the airport, but has no elevator.

About the location

We live in a small community near Alicante called Gran Alacant, which offers most of the amenities you could require (bars, restaurants, supermarkets and so on). Just down the hill from our flat is a nature reserve called the Clot de Galvany, which is lovely for a walk and even better if enjoy birdwatching. Slightly farther down that hill is the beach - four minutes by car and a little longer on foot (the hill is quite steep though, so the walk back is avoided by most people). The beach, Arenales del Sol, is one of the nicest in Alicante, we think. Up the hill is a leisure centre with tennis and padel facilities as well as in indoor arena for football or other sports.

The cities of Alicante and Elche are nearby and offer lots of great options for eating, drinking and cultural excursions (galleries, museums and so on).

The countryside around our home is good for hiking, but we would recommend to anyone who enjoys a good hike that they take a trip into the mountains near to Benidorm. There you can find spectacular views as well as a wide range of landscapes.
