Peak District Cottage

A stone built detached cottage set in gardens located in the village of Bamford in the Hope Valley area of the Peak District.

The Cottage can comfortably accommodate up to 6/7 people. Downstairs is a lounge with wood burning stove, dining room with large table, kitchen and sitting / boot area.

Three upstairs bedrooms comprising of one king size, one double and a double with extra single bed.

There is one bathroom and two separate toilets, upstairs and down.

Outside there is a patio area with benches, BBQ and great views across the Valley.

There is plenty of parking for a number of vehicles.

For those with dogs, the gardens are self contained and secured and the house is well designed with dirty boots and muddy paws in mind.

We would be looking to exchange on the understanding that we would be accompanied by 2 medium size dogs.

About the location

The cottage is perfectly located to accommodate walkers, cyclists, bikers and those looking for a base to explore the Peak District.

The cottage is within easy walking distance of Ladybower reservoir, Bamford edge and Stanage edge. Just a few minutes away from the villages of Hathersage and Castleton.

We are close to Bamford Train station on the Sheffield to Manchester line.

There is also a regular bus service connecting the villages of the Hope Valley.

The local pub and cafe is just a short walk away.

We have plenty of local information to share about local walks and places to visit.
