About the location

The Casentino valley is a beautiful unspoilt area surrounded by the Appenines with the river Arno running through. We are 15 minutes drive from the monastery of Camaldoli, and 15 minutes drive from the medieval walled town of Poppi. Florence is one and a half hours drive away, Arezzo three quarters of an hours drive. There are shops, swimming pools, restaurants, cafes within easy reach, and the nearby forest of Camaldoli has some great walks.
