Spacious and light timber frame house - Bishopston

Our light and spacious timber home was designed to fit the needs of a busy boy filled family. We have a colourful open plan living area, a newly built extension which is a great fall out space with ping pong and pool table plus enough bedrooms to hide away in when you need a little private space. A large boot room allows sandy and muddy belongings to be peeled off in warmth and 2 bathrooms means minimal shower arguments. There are toys and books aplenty for smaller visitors. Heating and hot water is provided by a wood burning tile stove and solar thermal/electric.
We have a cute patio to enjoy the morning sun, plus a deck over looking fields for a quiet afternoon sundowner. A 2nd larger grassy garden means any children will be happy with space for football, big trampoline, a treehouse and rope swings. Our vegetable patch blooms in summer and always needs produce to be picked and eaten, whilst our 4 entertaining chickens provide the eggs for breakfast. We built a small wood firmed sauna in the garden which is a complete treat for relaxing evenings and post sea dips.

About the location

Hareslade is one of a number of timber chalet communities on Gower, each house is individual in style and design and our neighbours are a friendly and welcoming crowd. It is a safe and fun environment for children to play in.
Gower is blessed with incredible beaches, glorious walks are available on foot from the house. Mumbles and its numerous shops is 10minutes away, whilst a Co-op store, 3 good pubs and a great farm shop are all in the village.
