Edinburgh

Victorian house on two levels built in 1895 with garden front and back. The house is about 160 square metres in area and is attractively decorated throughout. Downstairs there is a beautiful lounge, a sitting room, dining room, kitchen, toilet and utility room. Upstairs, there are three double bedrooms, one small study/library and a bathroom with separate shower.
The back garden has 3 separate patios, lots of plants and a wonderful old tree that can be seen from miles away.

About the location

Our neighbourhood of Liberton is an inner suburb of Edinburgh. It is a historic area and one theory is that it was where lepers were sent during Medieval times. We are also located close to the science campus of Edinburgh university. 15 metres from our house there is a bus stop with plenty of buses each hour into the city centre (takes about 15/20 minutes).
We are on a hill overlooking the city and from the house and garden we can see two medieval castles, an ancient volcano(Arthur`s Seat) and ships sailing into the Firth of Forth estuary.
.Edinburgh is the `greenest` city in Britain with almost half of its total area classified as open space. From leaving our house you can be walking in open fields within two minutes and walk up on to a volcanic hill with an observatory. The nearest golf course is within around 500 metres of our home.
Edinburgh is regularly voted the most beautiful and liveable city in Britain and one of the most attractive in the world.
It is also very easy to get out of the city with the East Lothian coast, the Scottish Borders and the Highlands very easy to reach.
