Front and rear garden with decking at the front with a fantastic view of `Kismul Castle` - stronghold of the clan McNeil since the 12th Century.

About the location

The house is located in Castlebay, 3 minutes walk from the ferry terminal, bank, post-office, and grocers (with fuel pumps + electric car charging facilities), 2 hotels/bar and a Indian restaurant.

Within 5/10 minutes you can walk to the `Buth` - Local produce shop, which also has an internet cafe and bike hire. There is also a gym and swimming pool facilities in the local school.

There are excursions to the castle, boat trips to the uninhabited island of Mingulay, known for its puffins and cliffs.

Barra is surrounded by beautiful, white, sandy beaches, one of which is famous - the only beach in the world where scheduled flights can land. Car hire is also available, details on request.
