We love Nice!

This is a two bedroom apartment on the third floor of an Art Deco building with a small lift just north of the Old Town. The communal areas are newly decorated and the apartment Is very light and airy. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine etc. There are two small balconies which look on to the road where you can sit with a coffee or a glass of wine. It is fully air-conditioned. The flat has been full modernised yet still retains some original features like the parquet flooring.

There are two bedrooms, one with twin beds and one with a double. It will sleep four adults but we reckon three adults (or two adults and two younger children) would probably work better as there is just one bathroom.

We can offer this as a separate exchange or as an element of an exchange with our house in Chiswick, London.
As our apartment in Nice is not out main home we arrange for you to be met and shown in. At the end of your stay the apartment is cleaned for which there is a charge of £75 - that does sound a lot but it is less than the actual cost.

About the location

It is a great area - very close to Place Garibaldi, the Old Town and all the restaurants and bars on rue Bonaparte. Very close to the tram and a ten minute walk to Nice Ricquier station for trains to Cannes, Antibes, Monaco, Monte Carlo and Ventimiglia. In the winter you can get to the ski resorts of Auron, Isola and Isola 2000 for the day - there is a very cheap local bus service.

The new tram takes you directly from the airport to Place Garibaldi which is very convenient and cheap. . There are boulangeries within two minutes of the apartment . The beach is about a fifteen minute walk through the Old Town. Place Garibaldi nearby is a great place for morning coffee or for an apéro in the evening and to watch the world go by.
