Modest, local, typical Hawaiian home with yard. Citrus trees. Quiet neighbors in friendly area. 10 minutes to town with several large grocery stores, many shops and restaurants. Small emergency room one mile from my home. one mile to a lifeguarded beach. 30 minutes drive to main town of Lihue with airport, two shopping malls, government offices.

About the location

Nothing is too far away for shops, beaches, restaurants. Need to go to Lihue for cinema. Beauty all around you here. Golf courses, tennis courts nearby. Also a skate park. Childrens parks. you can get to Hanalei on the north shore in 30 minutes and to end of the road on the west side at Mana in 75 minutes. Going to the Canyon, a must do, another 30 minutes from Waimea on the West side. If you wanted to see Honolulu or another island it is a short hop on the local airline but it will cost you $200 round trip to Honolulu. Or make a stop there on your way to or from the Mainland.
