Gorgeous park opposite with tennis courts, Lido, chlidren`s area, outdoor gym equipment and cafe. Herne Hill has a great selection of shops and restaurants, good transport. Friendly and safe family friendly area.

Getting around - Bus stop very close. 3 minutes to Brockwell Park. Short walk through the park to Herne Hill station trains to Farringdon, Kings Cross 20 minutes, Victoria 7 minutes, 15 minutes walk to Tulse Hill with trains to Croydon or London Bridge. Brixton 10 minute bus ride to the Underground. Trains very regular. Herne Hill has a village feel but great transport routes.
