Gorgeous quirky villa with basement games room - Irvine

Near the beach. We live in a detached home over 4 levels, on the West Coast with the beaches within walking distance. Our home has a large modern kitchen, with breakfast bar for 4 people. There is a seperate large dining room that can seat 12 people. Through patio doors from the dining room is a large secluded patio area with BBQ and seating for 12 people. We have mature gardens full of herbs, berries and gorgeous plants- again a secluded area. There are 5 bedrooms, a games room with fuBball table, pool/snooker table, smart tv, monitors for connecting games consoles if you want to bring these and sofa. This area hosts the small utility area with a washing machine and separate dryer.

Bathrooms - the en suite has separate bath and shower cubicle and the main bathroom has an over bath shower with loo and wash hand basin.

Three living rooms - one in basement as described above, one open plan with lots of floor to ceiling windows with views into the garden. This room is on the first floor so is a gorgeous room with comfy leather sofas. The other cosy family room has a tv, books and is a great place to relax.

Our home is near to loads of supermarkets, restaurants, cafes and coffee houses. There is a bus stop a two minute walk away that has connections to coastal towns such as Troon, Prestwick, Saltcoats, Ardrossan and Ayr.

The beach is a 5 minute drive or a 25 minute walk away. The Harbour and beach area is up and coming with family owned award winning organic coffee houses, ice cream parlour, restaurants and pubs.

Set in a nice, quiet suburban area, you could walk to pubs and restaurants within 10 minutes. There is also access to local golf courses and a gym and swimming pool in a newly built leisure centre. Soft plays nearby for smaller kids, skate parks, Airspace (indoor trampoline park), Intu (indoor rock climbing and sky park) are a 25 minute drive away for the kids and adults alike.

This is our new home, we haven`t been here long and most furniture and items are new. We treat our home incredibly well and are very clean, hygienic and tidy; we would offer the same respect to any home we swapped with.

About the location

Seaside town that is used to catering for tourists but not too commercialised. The house is 1.3 miles from the local beach with great views of Arran. Ideal for seeing Scotland; Stirling, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Arran, Loch Lomond and the coast are easily accessible.

Lots of gorgeous places to visit: Gro Coffee, Vanilla Joe`s Ice Cream Parlour, Simpsinns owned restaurants such as The Gailes, Si!, Hamilton`s Restaurant are all in Irvine with other fabulous places with views to visit.

Cycle routes, walking routes and lots of country parks and outdoor space on hand. Marinas on the coast and ferry access to local islands or Ireland.
