Comfortable terrace family home ideal for exploring the Lake District by car or public transport.

Our home is a 3 level town house with 2 attic bedrooms with a single bunk style bed and Double bedroom. Both have Velux windows and blinds. There is a table and space for children to play and our 5 year old and 7 year old sleep up there normally.

The middle floor has the bathroom, with shower and bath, a single room and king size double bed master bedroom,

The ground floor has a cosy living room with 4 armchairs and a wood burning stove. It has a large dining table and 2 further chairs.

The kitchen has a new gas stove, dishwasher and reasonable workspace. There is a small outhouse and downstairs toilet.

Outside there is a yard where our 2 rabbits live in a hutch, a small grass garden and shed.

About the location

Penrith is a lovely market town with all amenities within walk distance of the house, We are on the edge of the northern Lake District, with Ullswater only 5 miles away. We could leave you our car and maps to explore the many fells, lakes, woodlands and villages.

Penrith train station is within easy walking distance as is the bus station and makes for easy access to Edinburgh, Carlisle, Lancaster with through trains to Manchester airport and London.
