Family home on the edge of Dartmoor National Park - Tavistock

Our family home is in the historic stannery town of Tavistock which sits on the western edge of Dartmoor National Park- great for walkers and cyclists alike.

We have a comfortable and well equipped family home that we hope guests will enjoy.

The master bedroom is large and spacious with a kingsize bed. The second bedroom has a triple bunk bed (double bed on the bottom and single bunk ) which accommodates our two boys who are 9 & 7 years old. You will also find an abundance of dinosaurs, toys, puzzles and books galore.

We often accommodate a whole family in this room when we have visitors, with adults in the double and 1-2 children in the top bunk.

The family bathroom has a bath and shower. Downstairs is an open plan sitting room and dining room leading to the kitchen. There is also a downstairs toilet and shower room.

Tavistock has all you could need with independent shops and cafes as well as some well known names.

As well as Dartmoor and cycle routes we are in a great location to access beaches in both Cornwall and Devon; our favourites being Bigbury in South Hams, Devon and Bude in Cornwall.

We have an abundance of national trust sites in the local area.
