About the location

La Limonaia is located in a tiny village called Vitiano that has just a view houses. The nearest town is Castiglion Fiorentino, which is just 2 to 3 km away. Situated on a hilltop (345 m asl) Castiglion Fiorentino has splendid views overlooking the Val di Chiana and Preappenines. It is ideally located on the border between Tuscany and Umbria, making it easy to get to the main cities in central Italy. Some of the nearest well known places that offer historical treasures are Cortona, Perugia and of course Arezzo (which offers a famous antique market on the first weekend of every month), Monte San Savino, Lucignano, Siena, Montepulciano, Pienza and so many more.
