Situated in the new marina development in a peaceful location on the Edinburgh waterfront. Our house is a fairly luxurious 5th floor open plan and modern flat of 1000sqft/90sqm, with two double bedrooms and two bathrooms. Sitting right on the water in between two working marinas, the large balcony offers panoramic views of Edinburgh Castle, Arthur Seat - the extinct volcano, Newhaven Harbour and out to the North Sea. At festival times you will also have amazing seats for the fireworks. Fifteen minutes by bus to the the historic old town, the modern commercial city center, or to a more relaxed seafood heaven on the waterfront at Leith. Also close to the Royal Botanic Gardens. Particularly good for the summer festival(August) and winter festival(Dec/Jan). The Highlands, mountaineering, whisky distilleries etc further afield but do-able in a day.
