Our home is an old adobe, 20 minutes north of Santa Fe, New Mexico. It is very comfortable, and has a great feeling, but has not been modernised recently! Stunning landscape, mountains, museums, opera (summer), skiing and 300 plus art galleries and many artists. The house has a large studio space. Nice garden with views of the Jemez Mountains. Within a day's drive of national parks in neighbouring, Arizona, Utah, Colorado and Texas. The famous Spanish Market in July and Indian Market in August. Plus the Fiesta in September. Absolutely Incredible weather!

My husband (Barry) is American and I (Lynne) am British. I have lived here for 13 years. We are both landscape painters (www.lynnewindsor.com www.barrymccuan.com), who love painting France and England. All my family is in the UK and I very much want to spend more time in Europe so that I can see them more often and also to paint. One day we would like to make the move to France, but for now, we are trying to organise a long or short term exchange if possible. We would consider anything over 1 month. We do have three old dogs, who are very good natured. We would try and find a place for them, unless you absolutely have to take care of them. Charlie in particular is irresistable!
